A gentle reflection

Is it OCD?

So many of us carry OCD quietly for years before anyone names what's happening. Not because we're not trying, but because the loops can be hard to see from the inside and even harder to say out loud.

This gentle reflection is a place to pause and notice what's been going on in your mind, with curiosity instead of judgment.

  • 14 questions, about 4 minutes
  • Explores the many faces of OCD, including the ones that rarely get talked about
  • Ends with a personal reflection and support that fits where you are
  • Private and free. Your answers are never saved.

This isn't a diagnosis. It's a starting point for coming home to yourself.

From your answers

What you named

{{ themeAnim }}

These thoughts don't define you. They're signals your mind has gotten stuck on.

You didn't name a specific theme. That's okay. OCD doesn't always fit a neat category.

{{ icoLoop }}
From your answers

The loop

{{ loopAnim }}

They help for a moment. Over time, they can teach your brain the thought was dangerous, and the loop tightens.

You didn't name any loops right now. That's worth noticing too.

How it's touching your life

{{ timeLine }}

OCD often shows up exactly where our hearts are. That's not your fault.

It doesn't sound like this is taking up much of your day right now.

What helps

OCD is very treatable. The most researched treatment is Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), a specialized therapy where you gently practice facing the thoughts without doing the compulsion, at your own pace. ERP is personal work, best done one-on-one with a therapist trained in OCD.

Healing also happens in community: in feeling less alone, naming what's been hidden, and learning to be with your feelings with more tenderness. Support groups can be a helpful companion, too.
